All urgent matters will be dealt with on the same day.
If you request an urgent consultation the receptionist will ask you about the nature of this. Please give as much information as possible as this will be passed on to the doctor and enable your call to be dealt with promptly. The Receptionists/Care Navigators are all fully trained in dealing with confidential matters and will treat your information with respect and in line with GDPR guidance.
Care Navigation - what does this mean?
Our Practice Administration team/Receptionists have all been trained as Care Navigators - this means they will ask you a little about your reason for requesting an appointment so they can direct you to the most appropriate service or health care professsional within a suitable timeframe. This is a very important role in ensuring that you see the most appropriate professional for your issue as all of our services are under pressure at this time.
